Engooden Health is adding a Senior Software Engineer - Data Scientist to its engineering team in order to support the tremendous growth we have projected for 2022 and beyond. This is a remote position working with a small agile team of engineers located across the US and the Americas.

- Help design and build features in python for our intelligent workflow engine
- Design and build new predictive models to help us better understand how to help our patients
- Analyze health outcomes data using solid statistical methods to quantify our impact and identify areas for improvement
- Attend daily Zoom standup meetings
- Follow our coding best practices to create clean, intuitive, testable code
- Review PRs and collaborate with teammates to help complete features for each release
- Investigate and address support issues reported by our users
Requirements
- A bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent field
- At least 3-5 years of experience writing production-ready code
- At least 3 years of experience writing production-ready Python code
- Demonstrated proficiency using common Python machine learning packages like Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, etc.
- Experience with Jupyter Notebook
- Experience with a Git-based version control system
- Familiarity with unit test frameworks
- Good communication skills
It would be great if you are also familiar with:
- Java/Spring/Hibernate

- Processing and analyzing claims data
